Rody Oddos is a graduate of the American Film Institute. Born in the South of France, he followed his parents as a child to North Africa and diverse provinces of France. He studied Music, Drama and English at the University of Montpellier, before settling down in Paris to become a professional musician, singer and composer. He played the guitar and the synthesizer for different French artists in the Rock'n Roll field, both on the stage and in the studio. He recorded himself for several major companies in Paris, including WARNER BROS (WEA), before running his own recording studio. Always interested in the dramatic art, he also joined the Chekhov Players, and over an extended period of time, studied with John Strasberg, the son of Lee Strasberg, one of the creators of the world famous Actor's Studio. In 1990, he moved to Los Angeles and got involved with the Hollywood community, translating such classic films as Gilda and Bugsy for the emerging DVD industry, and subsequently entering the American Film Institute.
